Our team at Goose Creek Pet Hospital do not believe in a one-size-fits-all vaccination plan. Every one of our patients is different in a number of ways and their vaccination plans should be tailored to their unique needs. The vaccination plan that our veterinarian will build for your pet will depend on several factors, including: your pet’s age, breed, size, medical history, lifestyle, environment, and current health condition.

Vaccines are an effective way to protect your pet against preventable diseases and illnesses. If your pet commonly interacts with other pets or is boarded, then it is essential that your pet get appropriately vaccinated.

Side Effects

Vaccine reactions and side effects are uncommon and are typically mild and last anywhere from a few hours to a day. Such reactions can include muscle soreness and swollenness, low-grade fevers, and drowsiness. If your pet is showing any of these symptoms, please call us.
